Market value 45mm webbers

Post by shuggy »

Hi I have found a set of good condition webbers on a stubby manifold that is snout 2 inch pipe, with ram tubes. Very clean. Suit 4g32

Just wondering what people would pay for them? Might get them for myself just making sure I don't pay too much.

Cheers.

They are $500 each new, you would pay about $750 a pair rebuilt. I would think a second hand pair would be worth about $500. I will be selling a manifold to suit Astron I soon and I will be looking for $75.
Using that way of thinking your set is maybe worth $550
I just bought a pair of kitted 48mm Dellortos with hoses, linkages, accelerator cable, filters, manifold and thermo housing for under $400

it does depend on what model DCOE weber ,you will find that DCOE 9 and DCOE 13 hold fairly good prices
my guess up to $ 1000 the pair for these carbs SH

This is going to sound strange but talking to people who have been around webers a long time the new ones dont perform or tune as well as the old ones even though they are meant to be the same casting wise.
Where were these ones made?
