I just had a local clutch and brake business remake my clutch cable. Looks like they reused the adjustment mechanism and the nylon cable ends from my old cable..and used a new inner /outer cable.
Cost $130.00 which sounds a bit expensive..but the alternative is a piece of rope through a hole in the floor attached to the throwout arm.
Hi guys, yeah, Flexible Drive Agencies do this kind of thing (including re-working old gear if new ones can't be found), and also do speedo cables, accelerator cables, etc. Pretty sure they're in every state too...
I've got a couple of new genuine cables with the screw adjust I could part with if you want a spare.

mate..if it is approx 1350mm tip to tip I will take one from you. This one I had made is actually my spare. I had a new cable I bought off ebay years ago to fit a GN Sigma and unfortunately it is about 50mm too long.
So I had to fit a 50mm spacers were it goes through the firewall to shorten the inner. Works OK ..but looks a bit dodgy. So if your cable is the right length I will take one.
PM me with your price.
The cable I am after is part #4158964
That is the GN part #. Maybe previous models have the same cable with a different part #. Who knows.
I'm guessing that the cable I bought that was too long was from a Triton or a Pajero (thats if they have cable clutches )
