Black Rims
Anyone tempted to give their pepperpots or turbo rims the full black treatment ??? Or the deep charcoal grey ??
I mean, if you do not like the finished result, just peel it off. I might do it when I get bored.

My Father in law has done the wheels on one side of his Navara as a test. It's been on there for about 3 months, and I couldn't see any damage at all. He does over 1000k's a week driving through central NSW so it should be a good test of it's durability.

Hey All, I work for Burson Auto Parts and we have tried this stuff on a lot of different things with our Sales Rep. eg. plastics, metals/alloys, over paint on cars. Its tough, it lasts and is easy to peel off. I rate this stuff.

Re: Black Rims
Im plannign on colouring the inner circles of the rim black (colour coded to the car itself)
I think thats a much nicer and more subtle look than the whole wheel painted

Re: Black Rims
After a while it does not look that bad. My pepperpots were polished 10 years ago and now have got more of a matt look about them. Which I prefer anyway. The spare that was polished at the same time (and never been on the car ) is still under the back of the wagon and still has 90% of it's shine.
