Hi all,
I just bought an old mitsubishi forklift to use around the yard.
It has an mitsubishi brand alternator on it with an external regulator(re55). I have a gregorys for a GE Sigma and the alt looks the same.
Most of the wireing is missing. The +ve wire is hooked up. There is another 4 pin plug that goes into the alt. They are marked A N E F.
Does anyone know how to wire it in properly?
The E has a yellow wire on it that has a join which changes it to black so i am assuming that its the earth.
The plug doesn't have a terminal in it at the A position.
I want to wire in the alt light as well while i am going.
Any help appreciated.
Cheers Shane

Re: wireing help
Local auto lecy was open today. This is what he said to do.
F goes to F terminal on the regulator. That is the terminal that would form the vertical line of a T.
D+ on the reg goes to ign on +ve.
That is all that is needed to make it work.
To make an alt light-
N goes to 85 on a Change over relay.
87a and 86 go to earth.
30 goes to the alt light and the other wire on the light goes to ign +ve.
Cheers Shane
