Been thinking about replacing the stock gauges on the '76 for some aftermarket ones such as these http://www.dakotadigital.com/index.cfm/ ... prd725.htm . A bit on the Expensive side, but it would replace some of the old wiring.
Board has been semi slow, so discuss!

I have been thinking about this myself, I believe 77galantv6 has fitted an aftermarket tacho into his factory dash and it looks good.
I like the look of these (in the old school white) but what to put in the 3rd hole in the dash? http://www.dakotadigital.com/index.cfm/ ... prd726.htm
Probably leave it blank, my car didn't come with a tacho as it is, or I've thought about the using three Autometer guages - Tacho, Speedo and a Quad Gauge.
yea a set of them gauges (with that quad one) in a gc/gd dash woodnt look to out of place.. i dont think so anyway..?
anyone hav any piks of standed dash wiv after market gauges?
My car: Colt/Galant AI standed. going AII GS speks!
in my lancer dash i have a autometer oil pressure gauge in the far right hole that used to be a air vent, and a boost gauge mounted behind the wheel on the steering coloum.

will post up a pic if i can find the phone cable thingy
they fit exactly where the normal gauges go. from memory they are the 3 and 3/4 inch size
Did you mean 3 3/8 by chance, because I don't see a 3 3/4 size anywhere.
