Car starts fine when I short the starter, but when I go to start it on the key I get nothing. Dash lights all work, it just won't turn over.
Ideas?

Re: Small problem...
Fuse, or fusable link?
Slip on wire fell off or loose on starter motor?

Re: Small problem...
Fuses are fine, starter wiring is attached/secure.
NFI on fusible links, as I'm not sure which one's which. They all look fine though?
It's pretty weird, as it was working fine a couple weeks ago![dunno :\](./images/smilies/msn_dunno.gif)

Re: Small problem...
dodgy ignition switch, wire unsoldered itself from back of ignition switch, dodgy inhibitor switch (if auto).

Inhibitor switch
Forgot that was still in there![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)
That could well be the issue, as I use it as a killswitch. It's kinda a necessity when you've had three driver's windows snapped off so the local kids can steal your smokes/try and steal the car![facepalm ](./images/smilies/facepalm.gif)
Cheers guys, carry on![embarrassed :$](./images/smilies/msn_embarrassed.gif)
