Not a huge response but anyway. I'll propose the Saturday the 3rd of October, maybe up the old road from Sydney to Newcastle with any detours that anyone wants to suggest? Unless there's any better suggestion?
BTW there will be stickers to be had for attendees, although not free, cheaper than normal (hey I had to pay to get em made)

Sydney to Newcastle sounds great to me if i can bring the Corolla. Some more inspiration to get the wagon finished could help.

My wife agreed to drive for me (don't get my license back till the 14th), we could drive down to the twin servos too. Give us a rough time when you're leaving from Thornleigh and we should be there.

Easy to find follow Pennant Hills Rd up through Pennant Hills, keep going and you'll see it on your left. Turn left at the next lights and enter from the back street. No access from Pennant Hills rd.

How does this sound? People who want to meet up in Sydney can meet at the Thornleigh Maccas as has already been mentioned. From here they make their way North to the twin servos via the Old Pacific for an interesting drive along the twisties.

The Newcastle, Central Coast, etc guys can meet up at the Northbound twin servos and both groups can then continue North. Going up the highway through Swansea, etc would be a lot more interesting than the Freeway.

Once we reach Newcastle we could find somewhere to park along the foreshore for lunch, check out each others cars and so on. From here it's up to each person to decide when they want to head off.

Sounds good C_Fernance.

Driftforlife, if it helps, the Maccas is right next to the big Bunnings at Thornleigh on Pennant Hills Rd, so look for that as well.

Sunday after the long weekend would make it the 11th October.
Thats better for me as well, but again dont just change it if more ppl are not able to come.

I would do a poll but I dont know how to, if someone could do one so we could vote for the weekend.
Either Saturday 3rd October (Sat of long weekend) or Sunday 11th October (Sun of the week after long weekend).
