I'm not to worried about a little bit of surface rust, I just give it a quick rub to get it off when it's time to spray. While it's parked in the shed I put sheets over the top of it, that almost completely stops the surface rust in the first place. Obviously my garage is a warm dry place, so just putting sheets on it is fine. Obviously that method wouldn't work if it was outside or under a carport.metry wrote:how do you prevent the bare metal from surface rusting?
But yes, as Chris said:
It just about has all the panels ready for spraying now, just got a few jobs left to do on it now before I can start spraying.C_Fernance wrote:The best thing to do is get a coat of paint on it ASAP.
Yeah, it's getting close now, looking forward to getting into the good bit, actually putting paint on.81GL wrote:Getting goose bumps looking at this.... Can't wait to see it all polished up
