Well, welcome from a fellow oldie !
My GA has low-back seats, so headrests arent an option, but I might try them in my Volvo !

Such a shame your number plate doesn't start with LAN instead of 327....

I can't believe the condition of this car, look at the door trims...

They are original door trims. I guess it pays to look after them.We drove to Perth and back with 3 kids in the back, they still love the car, my youngest girl wants me to leave it to her..

I've never seen one in Black....

I like it, what did your brother-in-law do with the brown interior to go with it?

Hi Nick. Thanks for the reply. Didn't they all come with that gasket, and the leaking breather pipe to the air filter. I will start to do under the bonnet at xmas when I have a bit of time of work....Phill

Ok Phil loving ur Lancer.....I have an LC im doing up at the moment and u have no idea how much i am dying to get my hands on a spoiler like the black one.
Also loving ur front splitter, is that stock? if not where can i get one?

My LC is going to be a rally car :D....currently 2.6L, injected and (compared to my stock GC) has power :D.
I did a touring rally up near Newcastle last year and it was just after it rained heaps (made the dirt tracks awesome fun) but we had a ford crossing and i dove straight into it like u did, water just up over the bonnet, me shitting myself caus ive got a 45DCOE weber so the airfilter is a little lower than stock lol but went great guns......we were doing the crossing one at a time and when i pulled up i said "yea should make it" one of the officials overseeing the event said "of course it will its a Galant"....so hopefully ill be there this year with my LC doing the lancers proud and kicking some datsun and escort tail :D

Cheers Matt

I have done a bit under the bonnet, just to tidy it up a bit . The front splitters are very hard to find ,I got my first one in 1983 of a guy after his girlfriend wrote of his lancer,I have a spare one thats had a hard life after it got smashed up by a wayward esky lid ,slowly putting it back together Image

Just looking at those interior shots and was wondering if a 6' guy could actually fit in the back. I jumped in the back of mine last weekend just to make sure the back seat was useful - it wasn't :( So it got tossed out to make way for "custom" rear compartment area. It will have a "gear safe" (a Milford gear storage product) for my son to carry any building utensils (he's wishing to do a carpentry/building apprenticeship) and sound system/compartments etc.......
