Pics
Got a shot of my collection, lol. I want one of each 70's Hardtop. I have the two Galants now and a GE Scorpion just need the GTO
superscan811's GH Scorpion at the front, My GE Scorpion at the rear, my A112 and A53 Galants in the shed
Better shot of new door trims. New material but also new boards Still need holes cut for locks and window winders.
Sweet GA seats front and rear but sadly the buckets don't flip forward so the hunt begins for genuine A53H GS seats. I have the factory rear (need re upholstering badly) but need the buckets.

Re: Another new project......
These are actually the front guard badges you need ... none of that 2nd gen stuff !
Re: Another new project......
Yeah I know but you bought them all, lol
The 2nd gen stuff has the correct text so will do if I need to use them but would prefer the original style

Re: Another new project......
bloody lovely collection , is that a pit under the coupe ? if it is your a lucky , lucky b@stard lol
Re: Another new project......
Yeah, fully lined pit with power points and lights
Love my pit but still would prefer a hoist I have no problem fitting a gearbox on my own but climbing up and down narrow steps into the pit with a gearbox on my shoulder is a fuck up waiting to happen

I promise I will stop at a GTO, but it has to be an A53C so I guess if I find an A57C first then I will still need the 53partyboyjay wrote:hehehe and so it must be! one more he says just one more then the collections complete! somehow i dont think it will stop at JUST one more!just need the GTO

This will be a very slow build, stage one is to finish stripping it once I secure some windscreen rubbers then get it soda blasted. Once I have assessed the work needed it wil be sent away to have the rear 1/4 replaced and go from there. I don't see the panel replacement happening this side of July.
Yeah mate, just pushes on, didn't even have to remove the steering wheel, lol. It is only there for pics and giggles. As above the whole car will be stripped for blasting next year.Scorpma82 wrote:New dash mat looks the good

Re: Another new project......
Out in the shed last night and was looking at the faded gray glovebox and dash, so I broke out the prepsol, sand paper and a screw driver.
Pulled them to bits, cleaned them up and hit them with some satin black.
When I got home tonight I polished the plastic lenses and re assembled with my new badge.
Not sure how to tackle the silver edging that I clearly sanded off and painted black, lol.
I am thinking silver paint pen?? Thoughts, ideas?
