Disc Setups
Disc Setups
A mate of mine is doing a Chrysler v6 into his LC Lancer hatch, with an A904 overdrive box, and he quizzed me on disc/hub coversions (he's after ford pattern to match his shortened borgie diff with 3.54s). he asked me about l200 (six stud I told him) ,...and Triton (also 6 stud)....has anyone done the 5 stud conversion?what did you use???,.2wd Hilux springs to mind ...

Re: Disc Setups
Will the 5 stud disc assemblies from a L300 van do the trick? I haven't had a good look at how they are set up but at least they're a 5 stud...

Re: Disc Setups
My hilux rear is drum so the disc conversion hasn't quite happened yet lol. Not sure which ones might be rear disc though, maybe the later years?

Re: Disc Setups
GH sigma struts and a 5 stud conversion kit to suit the TE TF Cortina will work
GH Sigma, 16" Mesh wheels, sports steering wheel and a V8 exhaust

Pretty sure what Mick was saying is you can use the 5 stud conversion kit to suit Cortinas on Sigma struts.
At least that is the message it got from

Re: Disc Setups
yep
theres a little difference but the kit works on the sigma with a little work to the calliper mounts
actually to be more specific the stubs are very similar between the two, from memory the cortina stub is slightly shorter but its the same dia and distance between bearings as the sigma it also differs where the dust seal runs on the stub
