I remember seeing this thing in the Unique Cars magazine feature a few years back.
Does it appear to have ever been in running condition or is it just a static display?
It's so damn cool that this has remained unchanged. Good luck with the future build we'll be watching on keenly.
It, upon closer inspection has been changed very slightly from the origional article (1980's Motor Manual).
1. The bonnet badge has been removed (what ever it was) and the horse has been placed on instead.
2. There is no longer a radar detector in the vehicle (for obvious rearons) namely the heafty fine that goes with owning one.
As for the phone, i doubt it work's.

I have a few other thing (namley 3 other cars) to work on before this one even thinks about getting started. Plan is to get it on the road though, if not back to Birdwood it goes.

This car was a highlight from a school trip to Birdwood many years ago, it's great to see it still surviving and being taken care of (I heard many things from that era simply ended up crushed ). I'm a big fan of 80's external styling, and you know if you ever need to part with it, there are many people willing to give it a good home
Edit: I think I might be dreaming of a new project, to make a replica of this car... yet another project dream

Mate, if you ever decide to sell it, I finally have the room for it. Now I better close this page before my wife sees that I intend on buying another GE Sigma! (I've owned 3 GE Sigma SEs for the past 6 years and just got rid of one of them)
If anyone wants to see the car it will be at the Extreme Auto Show and Hot Rod Show
Saturday and Sunday 20th and 21st of October 2012 which is held at the Royal Adelaide Showgrounds.

Sunday October 21st gates open 10am till 6pm

Oh I am SOOOO glad it never got the Batmobile rear touring wing on the boot deck. I just thought of something - is this the pioneer of the Japanese Bosozoku look? It is cool and just the right amount of over the top...
