We PAID a shop to do that 10+ years ago - a quick check by Joel found metal strips glued in, then bogged and painted.

Maybe thats why they closed down.
The turbo was fine - puff of smoke now and then, not bad for 5 years of boosting - had it reconditioned while wait'n on the head - by the 3rd trip it was stuffed - oil from behind the comp wheel.
Its back again now. Just need to install. Turbo dude is blaming the air filter - to restrictive - same filter that was on before and never had a problem.
Have a 5" K&N ready to go in now.
